Leanne Robinson + Lucy Rose - August’s Music Week Breakout 10.09.11

More awards being annouched this week including the line up for August’s Music Week Breakout event. Seven acts make the short list of which all seven will appear over two stages at the monthly event on August 10. Artists who will feature on the night are:
Main Stage:
Rob Bravery – Off-kilter piano-led multi-instrumentalist recently signed by EMI Music Publishing’s Felix Howard (Mona, Lana Del Rey)

Lucy Rose – Upcoming acoustic singer/songwriter and Bombay Bicycle Club collaborator managed by Roger Morton (Razorlight)

Loick Essien – Sony/RCA’s breakthrough British urban/pop artist who hit number two last week with How We Roll featuring Tanya Lacey

Murkage – BBC Radio 1 Xtra-championed Manchester dubstep/punk fusion act handled by Primary Talent’s Peter Elliott (Dizzee Rascal) & Craig D’Souza (Wretch 32)

Acoustic Stable:
Leanne Robinson – East London-based new soul pop voice and Brit School graduate


The Title Sequence - North London acoustic duo championed by Huw Stephens, Steve Lamacq and Tom Robinson

Sam Airey - A 22-year-old male solo artist from Leeds produced by Whiskas (Forward Russia, DTTR).

Entry to the event is FREE before 9pm to Music Week readers who register at www.musicweek.com/breakout before midday on the day of the event which is a co-promotion with All Night Long.
